Paul has attempted to stave off the onslaught that had taken place against the Galatian churches. The emotional tone of the letter is in large part due to Paul’s shock over what was going on there. Having just returned to the home church, Antioch, Paul heard about the problems that were going on in Galatia and quickly penned a response.
