Roger graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Religion with a major in Pastoral Ministry and a minor in Biblical Studies. After which he attended his Masters Degree in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1991, double majoring in New Testament Literature and Exegesis and Systematic Theology Studies.

God has blessed me from birth by placing me with, and among, incredible believers who disciple me through my entire life. Christ saved me in my teen years and has generously shepherded me to this day. I have been blessed to have been married since 1989, a union resulting in six children. Moreover, God has allowed me to serve at Berean since October of 2002.

I am a sinner saved by grace alone - through faith alone - in Christ alone, declared righteous by the God of all creation and adopted as a child of His. I am the recipient of a family I do not deserve - the husband of one wonderful wife, and the father of six beautiful blessings. I am in constant need of God’s grace and have become increasingly aware of my need to call on Him more regularly for comfort, strength, and the abilities necessary to live the life He has called me to live. I work full-time as a high school mathematics teacher, where God has providentially equipped me to better know how to communicate with teens and young adults for the service of His church.

Darcey Vanderstelt is deeply committed to the work of the Lord and has always been a servant at heart. She was baptized her senior year of High School (2013) and became a member of Berean Bible Baptist Church January 22, 2023. The Lord guided her to pursue the position of secretary in late April, 2023. Each day she hopes to help others in their relationship with the Lord. She walks together in the ways of the Lord loyally with her faithful husband Matthew
